On & Off Page SEO

On-page SEO is the practice of optimizing individual website pages so that they rank higher in search engines. This phase of SEO focuses on the content and source code of a page that can be optimized.  On the other hand, off-page SEO refers to links and other external data, such as links from other websites to yours, social media and other marketing activities outside your own website. The most important of these off-page factors is the number and quality of links pointing towards your site. The more quality, relevant sites that link to your website, the higher your position in Google will be. We will help you with the process of off-page SEO. Some may call it link building or back-links.

Keyword Research

A keyword (i.e. micro brewery) is a word or phrase that one types into a search engine to find information on a certain topic.  A longtail keyword (i.e. best micro brewery in town) is a group of 3 or more words that can be better targeted than a simple one or two word search.  Whether its a new website or reviving an established site, when it comes to search engine marketing, your list of keywords are the foundation for your websites success.  If no one is searching what your writing about, or your products and services, then you won’t get any traffic from the search engines. This SEO phase is the process where we gather a large list of internal and external sources/data and search for relevant keywords for your business. We will build a list of keywords that are the most pertinent to your website, increasing conversion ranking and sales.

Google Analytics

Online tracking and Google Analytics are very important as they show us an abundance of data about how your website is performing.  This comprehensive data provided by Google Analytics is analyzed tweaked and perfected as we discover and identify which service is relevant to your business.  Due to the large amount of data available, these analytics can be intimidating to many.  Setting up Google Analytics requires experience and if conversion or e-commerce tracking is not setup properly one may not be able to tell if your winning or losing. If setup properly, one should be able to tell which pages are best or worst performing, visitor engagement, time spent on site, number of visitors over days, weeks, months, conversion rates, visitors age, male or female. And the list goes on and on. As you can see an enormous amount of data is available; but knowing what to do with it to improve your business requires a professional.
